In 2008 a critical part in the brewing process broke over the weekend, and our in house spare was
defective when the spare was pulled from stock. Monday morning we contacted our local UK distributor
and they were out of stock. I was able to locate the part at USA distributor and place the order that
same Monday.
By mid-day US time on Monday, REWICO UK along with it's affiliated agent in the USA, UTC Overseas, picked
up the goods, and had had the cargo delivered to the airlines late that afternoon to be airfreight to the
UK later that evening. Within hours of the aircraft lift off in the US REWICO filed the necessary paper
work with UK Customs and had the cargo cleared customs immediately at London Heathrow upon arrival.
REWICO had a truck waiting at the airport and delivered the goods to our brewery by 1PM local time UK on
the Tuesday. Through REWICO's professionalism and attention to detail what could have been a major issue
turned into a minor inconvenience.
